When?
From June to September

From Spring to Autumn holidays with art and stay in “AZURRA” The House of Artists in Pontremoli It’s nice to come to Lunigiana and discover the city of Pontremoli.

It’s nice to go for a walk from The House of Artists through this medieval town and the eighteenth-century small villages by following urban itineraries or, if you prefer green paths, go for a walk along the rivers that surround the town. These are only some suggestions among many this Region can offer, such as village fairs, daily excursions to Cinque Terre, Parma, Massa Carrara, Pisa, Lucca and Florence, and also… why don’t combine these excursions with art courses? More about the House and about us… It’s a House on the river Magra managed by the Associazione Arte Lingua e Cultura – Studio Giambo – in Florence in cooperation with AIA Associazione Internazionale Artisti, which offers accomodation, the use of kitchen for convivial meetings or full board besides the use of the atelier and/or the gallery for exhibitions. The villa is close to the historical center and its wide garden gives onto the river Magra, in a quiet neighbourhood in the old via Francigena, 25 kms away from the Tirreno sea. It’s possibile to do daily excursions by train to artistic towns such as Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Parma or Viareggio with its promenade in liberty style or to Cinque Terre, the gem of the coast in Liguria… Inside the villa there are four rooms of two, three or four beds, all with private bathroom. On the opposite side of the historical centre there are two flats of three beds each. For bigger groups we can offer accomodation in B&B close to our House.
